Halloween treat: Frozen "Boo" nana pops!

I found this original recipe on Skinny Taste to make adorable frozen "Boo" nana pops.  This was one of the easiest things to make, and with one of both Brody and I's favorite fruits.  While mine didn't turn out too pretty, and for some reason the camera made them look yellow...they tasted delicious. This is definitely a fun/semi-healthy fruit treat to have for the kids or yourself. Making them was definitely the fun part, the kids enjoyed being apart of it.

What you need:
1 large banana
1 cup white chocolate
6 chocolate chips
3 Popsicle sticks

Here is my breakdown of the recipe:

  1. Cut banana into halves, then insert Popsicle stick.
  2. Freeze the bananas on a wax lined cookie sheet.

After the bananas have been frozen {2-3 hours}, then melt the white chocolate in the microwave. {For about 1 - 1 1/2 minutes} Make sure to stir as you are melting the chocolate. After the chocolate is melted, dip the bananas one by one into the white chocolate.  After dipping, place the banana pops on the wax lined cookie sheet and quickly add the chocolate chip "eyes" before the white chocolate hardens.

After decorating the banana, return it to your freezer on the wax lined cookie sheet until it is frozen. Enjoy this delicious frozen treat! This was such a fun and easy way to make an adorable + tasty treat for the kids, and myself. We already have all the ingredients on hand, so I can make these again and again.
