Halloween 2012 has definitely been my favorite Halloween ever! I have a love for zombies {boyfriend and I both really do}, so last month we decided to be zombies this year. Funny thing? I ended up using all the make-up, and our son wouldn't keep his on. So Brody ended up being the Hulk and Paul didn't dress up! Seriously being a zombie is one of the easiest, and most fun costumes.
I was really nervous about how my makeup would turn out, but it ended up being pretty awesome and realistic thanks to the help from my awesome friend Adrianna. All it took was a little fake blood, toliet paper {for the scabs, yep}, fake skin paste stuff, black eyeshadow, and did I mention blood? This costume was honestly so much fun, I wish I could dress up like a zombie everyday. I got a ton of compliments! Most of my costume came from Hot Topic. The items were between 50-75% off too!
This was our son's first time trick or treating, he is 14 months this year but last year he was only two months. He was a bit shy and confused at first, but once he got the hang of it he was a pro. Eventually he would run up the houses, stick his hand out and then run away because he wanted to keep going to the next house. It was so cute! He loves dogs, so everytime he saw a dog inside someone's house he got excited.
